IYF Raipur Morning Mangalarati

Mangala Aarti – Experience the bliss!

Every Sunday, we encourage you all to attend Mangala aarti and enjoy association with devotees. We hear that during Brahma Muhurta, our mind is calm, refreshed and serene. Since our mind is like a blank paper, it is free from worldly impressions and we can infuse it with divine thoughts.

“In the early morning hours (known as brahma-muhurta) one should get up and immediately chant the Hare Krsna mantra, or, at least, “Krsna, Krsna, Krsna.” In this way, one should remember Krsna. Some shlokas or prayers should also be chanted. By chanting, one immediately becomes auspicious and transcendental to the infection of material qualities.” Chaitanya-charitamrta, Madhya lila 24:331

We invite you to come to the temple or IYF Centres every Sunday to experience the bliss.

We can attend Mangala aarti, participate in: Tulsi Puja, Group chanting, Srimad Bhagavatam class and breakfast will be served after class. When can one receive the mercy of Deities and association with like-minded devotees?

As we read in Srimad Bhagavatam (3.13.13), the importance of pleasing Krishna without which all the efforts are futile and one neglects their own interests.

yeṣāṁ na tuṣṭo bhagavān              yajña-liṅgo janārdanaḥ
teṣāṁ śramo hy apārthāya            yad ātmā nādṛtaḥ svayam

The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Janārdana [Lord Kṛṣṇa], is the form to accept all the results of sacrifice. If He is not satisfied, then one’s labor for advancement is futile. He is the ultimate Self, and therefore one who does not satisfy Him certainly neglects his own interests.

The Deities are in the “most merciful” mood during the mangala aarti phase. After the aarti, we pray to Lord Nrsimha, sing Guru Puja with like-minded devotees and the devotional mood in the temple is second to none. When we worship Tulsi Maharani in presence of Srila Prabhupada and Srila Gurudev, we feel content in our spiritual life. Chanting Mahamantra rounds with other devotees and receiving their mercy/association only enhances the meaning of congregational chanting.

So, please come and participate in this very special programs
